How much does it cost?
Horsemanship for Heroes is provided at no cost to all Veterans, Emergency Responders and their family members.
How do I sign up?
Horsemanship for Heroes operates on a referral basis. We are partnered with the Nevada Peer Support Network (Emergency Responders and Veterans), and several local Veterans organizations in the Reno area that can offer a referral. Contact us for a list of referral agencies. Alternatively, Post-9/11 Veterans can receive referrals through the Wounded Warrior Project.
Do I need to have any horse experience?
Absolutley not! We will teach you basic horsemanship from the ground up. All you need is a gallon of good attitude!
